    104 Years of Franklin Caps

    Since 1922, Franklin Caps has been part of our family. I inherited the shop from my father, who taught me everything about making caps by hand.

    He always had one final wish. “If we ever close, give the remaining caps away.”

    After 104 years, that day has come. In honor of my father, I'm keeping his promise.

    Our remaining caps are now FREE. You only cover shipping.

    Once they're gone, Franklin Caps closes its doors for good.

    How does the sizing work?

    In short: adjustable caps have a strap on the side or back and fit virtually every adult head, 21.5" to 25.2" (55 to 64cm). Sized caps have a flexible elastic band in the back, just pick the range on the product page that includes your measurement. Still unsure?     I want you to be satisfied with your cap. If it’s not quite right, you can return it within 30 days from the day you receive it. Just send me an email, and I’ll take care of everything.

    How are the caps made?

    Each cap is carefully handcrafted in my workshop. I cut the cloth, stitch every seam, and shape each piece by hand. I’ve been making caps this way since 1988, with the same steady care and attention to detail.

    How do I care for my cap?

    A well-made cap doesn’t need much to last. Keep it in a cool, dry place when you’re not wearing it, and give it a gentle brush now and then to keep the fabric fresh. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally. Simple care will keep your cap in good shape for years.
